Flooding and Erosion Issues to be Discussed at HANA Meeting

HANA’s next meeting of the general membership is scheduled for 7:00pm, Thursday, February 14, 2019, in the Fireside Room of Grace Lutheran Church, 210 West Park Row. Our speaker will be Amy Cannon, Interim Director of Storm Water Management in the City’s Public Works Department.

The heavy rains last fall exposed a number of drainage problems in the HANA area, resulting in damage from flooding and erosion, Last year the City financed a study of the Johnson Creek watershed, and Ms. Cannon will discuss the results of that study and how they may be applied to some of these flooding and erosion problems in the HANA area.

We anticipate that there will be time and opportunities to discuss specific problems that HANA members and residents experienced and what remedies may be possible.
