Dear HANA Neighbors:

We wanted to say thank you for supporting the City of Arlington in its efforts to contain and mitigate the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). As HANA residents and business owners ourselves, we share your concerns and frustrations stemming from recent restrictions, not to mention the overwhelming amount of news and information to keep track of.

In the coming days and weeks, we encourage you to draw on the strength of the HANA community and continue being great neighbors: Exchange contact information with neighbors, be part of a communication chain, check on elderly neighbors, share resources, pick up groceries for a neighbor, donate your extras to a food bank, donate blood, donate to organizations hit hard by cancellations, or otherwise contribute in a way that makes sense to you.

And if you have questions or need help—any kind of help—ask.

As an organization, HANA’s primary goal is to facilitate communication about issues and needs in the community. We hope this compilation of resources helps keep you connected to the people, information, and services you need.  We may be “socially distanced” for the time being, but we’re all in this together.

Sincerely,

HANA Executive Board

Alicia Gray, President

Derek Carter, Vice President

Don Boxall, Treasurer

Deborah Ray, Secretary
